SometimeIMG_1927s in our faith lives it can feel like we are hollow inside. Things that we have believed our whole lives can feel empty, without promise. This can happen especially when life throws curve balls or you experience a loss. Grief can make everything feel hollow. You can feel burned out, just like the remaining shell of this building.

What do you do when your faith feels hollow? One thing I try to do when I feel that empty feeling, especially when I was dealing with the loss of loved ones, was to try and look back on the times that my faith was less hollow. I’d pray that those times would come back and help me through the losses.

It can be jarring when your faith feels hollow, especially when it can be so strong at other times in your life. Feel free to share what you have done during those hollow times to rebuild.
