God calls us each by name. God knows our name so well there is no need to consider wearing a name tag. 

Name tags are helpful for us to know each other. We start as strangers yet become friends who know each other by name. We were named by our parents, a name inspired by God and influenced by our parents’ experiences.

I wonder though how we can name our experiences of faith and God. If you had to wear a name tag that didn’t identify you by name, but by your faith experience, what name would you write down?

I also marvel at the fact that sometimes we may be seeing God right in front of us, but without a name to put with the face, so to speak, we miss more than we can anticipate.
