The Queen of My Self

I Bless the Future

posted by Donna Henes

Do you believe it? This is my 350th post! Happy Anniversary to the Empowerment of the Queens! To celebrate, I am offering 3 The Queen of My Self T-shirts to the first 3 Queens who request one. Just send me an email and ask. Please include your size and mailing address. The shirts are available in sizes up to 4x.

I see “Begin Again” as an ideal theme for this season. We have the supreme opportunity now in the autumn of our midlife to begin again. How shall we reinvent our Selves? What new programs, projects and passions are on the horizon for us? Please send me your stories of change, transition, and transformation. Our shared experiences serve to inspire and empower us all.

Thanks.

xxQueen Mama Donna

I Bless the Future

The future that lies like the embryo of a dream growing in our hearts.

A dream conceived in love,

Carried in trust, nurtured by faith,

And born in compassion.

A dream of a future of peace

A future of plenty

A future of spiritual fulfillment.

A dream raised by our best intentions

And realized by every thought we think,

Every action we take and every word we speak.

That future is now.

I immediately tracked down the source, obtained permission, and arranged to print it in the next issue of Always in Season, which went out of print in 2006. As it turned out, it was bumped for space and placed into the basket of ideas accumulating
