McCain Ad Suggesting Obama Is the Anti-Christ?

posted by swaldman

An interesting memo from Eleison Group, a Democratic campaign consultant operation about the McCain ad. They dissect the ad in an effort to prove that McCain camp is intentionally trying to cast Obama as the anti-christ or at a minimum, someone with a sacriligeous Messianic complex. Here are excerpts from the memo:

The McCain campaign has responded to initial criticisms about their “THE ONE” ad by saying it was meant merely as a joke poking fun at Obama’s strong support and Messiah-like imagery. But this was not some YouTube video put together in someone’s basement. It was a professionally and carefully produced ad that had a much more sinister subtext that millions of Americans will pick up on. The makers of the ad chose all of Obama’s quotes very carefully and the ad is rife with image after image equating Senator Obama to the anti-Christ, and especially to Nicolae Carpathia, the anti-Christ in the popular Left Behind series. This is the use of religion at its very worst in politics because it is an attempt to subtly and perhaps even subconsciously play on some of the deepest fears of millions of evangelical Americans. From the title of the ad (that immediately reminds anyone familiar with the Left Behind series of the name of the false church set up by the anti-Christ) to the quotes (with no respect to context) and images that the McCain camp chose to use, which basically allude to every symbol of the anti-Christ possible short of flashing 666 on the screen, this ad is an attempt to stir up already circulating falsehoods about Obama and add more fuel to the fire. The McCain campaign clearly believes that Democrats and the press will not be attuned enough with the people who bought over 70 million copies of Left Behind to realize what is happening. But as with apocalyptic writing that can seem just plain odd until one really studies them and understands the symbolism and contextual language of the time, there are numerous parts of this ad that make no sense in a high-budget presidential ad unless they are understood for what they really are: attempts to scare people with contextually bankrupt scriptural and Obama quotes and imagery tied together to send messages of fear that Obama is somehow the anti-christ. Even the chosen format as an internet ad allows for it to blasted out to targeted religious populations that will immediately recognize its significance and forward it on to others in their community so that the whispers and innuendo can continue in dark corners outside the scrutiny of the general public who would be horrified by such tactics. Our goal with this memo is to expose the McCain campaign’s lies they disseminate in darkness with the light of public scrutiny and the scriptural facts they quietly distort and use to mislead.Lest people simply dismiss this ad as pandering to a small subset of people “who would never vote for us anyway,” here are some facts on how predominant and wide-spread the Premillenialist (also known as Darbyist or dispensationalist–see attached background memo for more info) views are…A Time Magazine poll that came out after the 9/11 attacks found that 1 in 5 Americans believe the world will end in their lifetime; 1 in 4 felt 9/11 was predicted in Revelation; and 1 in 3 Americans who support Israel said they do so because they believe Israel must reconquer the Promised Land for Christ to return. The Left Behind series has sold nearly 70 MILLION books (plus a 40-book children’s series, graphic novels, books on tape, movies, etc). Another recent poll found that 3 of 4 Americans believed that the Left Behind series accurately depicted the events described in the Book of Revelation, although less than half believed that was an accurate description of how the world would end. And a simple search for “Obama anti-christ” or “Obama Nicolae Carpathia” turns up numerous hits and bloggers commenting about how many people came to their posts doing just that search. This is a real phenomenon being put forth and encouraged by modern day false prophets and now we see coming to light in the McCain campaign’s TV ad.Go to any “end times” website that explains how we will recognize the anti-christ, and most will begin by explaining how he will be a charismatic figure and moving speaker based on the description in Revelation 13:5 that the anti-christ will be given a “mouth speaking great things.” He is initially seen as a blessing to the world that unites it and brings it out of a period of great economic hardship and war.Below, we break the ad up into its different parts to more easily highlight and explain the numerous allusions to Obama as anti-Christ.NARRATOR: It should be known that in 2008 the world shall be blessed. They will call him The One. In The Left Behind series, the false religion set up by Nicolae Carpathia (the anti-christ) is called THE ONE World Religion. Nicolae Carpathia began his political career as a young junior Senator who, with Satan’s help, then embarked on a meteoric political rise by preaching unity, hope, and peace in the midst of world-wide calamity following the Rapture.”[the beast] was given authority over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all the inhabitants of the earth will worship it…” Rev 13:7. OBAMA: A nation healed, a world repaired…we are the ones that we’ve been waiting for.In the Left Behind Series, the slogan of the One World Religion is, “We are God.” What is very explicit in this line, which is taken out of context from one of Obama’s speeches and placed into a religious context here, is the insistence that we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. Throughout the Bible, Christians are taught that their hope must be in Christ alone. Especially in apocalyptic writings, good Christians are called to turn away from the teachings of false prophets and wait upon Christ to deliver them from the period of tribulation. “For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.” Mark 13:22 “The man of lawlessness…will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God and worshiped”. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4″You [Lucifer] said in your heart’ “I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God… I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Isaiah 14: 13-14NARRATOR: And he has anointed himself ready to carry the burden of The One. To quote Barack: “I have become a symbol of America returning to our best traditions.” He can do no wrong. Viewers will notice how similar the very odd pictures that appear in the middle of the McCain ad are to the cover art and fonts of the Left Behind series, especially to the image and colors of the final book in the series that would be most recent in reader’s memories. The hidden images in the clouds and sun in the ad, which took a great deal of editing and are so strange that they had to be intentionally chosen and placed there by the McCain camp for their symbolic value, are of screaming, frantic crowds. One image has a man holding his hand up in a fist (bottom right of the first sun image above), which will evoke black power and Olympic protests, and another has a stair leading to heaven (second image above).CBS NEWS CORRESPONDENT LARA LOGAN: Do you have any doubts?OBAMA: Never.NARRATOR: Can you see the light?OBAMA: A light will shine down from somewhere. It will alight upon you. You will experience an epiphany and you will say to yourself, “I have to vote for Barack.” “Then I saw another beast….that exercised authority on the part of the first to make the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast…it performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to alight on the earth in the sight of all; and by the signs it is allowed to perform on behalf of the beast, it deceives the inhabitants of earth…and it caused all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead.” Rev 13:11-16 An excerpt from Left Behind which is a good example of how the anti-Christ is constantly described in the books as he fools the people during his rise to power from junior Senator to world ruler:”I wouldn’t feel this way about anybody else [but Carpathia]. No U.S. president could turn my head like this, no U.N. secretary-general.” “You think he’ll be bigger than that.”"The world is ready for Carpathia, Buck. You were there Monday. You saw it. You heard it. Have you ever met anyone like him?”"No.”"You never will again, either. If you ask me, Romania is too small for him. Europe is too small for him. The U.N. is too small for him.” “What’s he gonna be, Steve, king of the world?”Steve laughed, “That won’t be the title, but don’t put it past him. The best part is, he’s not even aware of his own presence. He doesn’t seek these roles. They are thrust upon him because of his intellect, his power, his passion.”NARRATOR: And the world will receive his blessings.”Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ, and will deceive many…if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect ” Matt 24:4-24OBAMA: This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.CHARLTON HESTON AS MOSES: Behold His mighty hand! [visual of seas parting and Obama seal rising from the sea as supporters chant "Obama, Obama" in background] The Moses reference could be a joke about Obama leading people to the promised land, but why did the makers of this ad chose this very odd quote about the oceans and create this very odd image of parting the Red Sea to have the Obama logo come floating out? That doesn’t make sense unless one understands that it is always from the sea that the anti-Christ comes…”Then the dragon took his stand on the sand of the seashore, and I saw a beast rising out of the sea…and the dragon gave it his power and his throne and great authority…they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?” Rev 12:18-13:4.”And I saw in my vision by night the four winds of heaven stirring up the great sea, and four great beasts came out of the sea.” Daniel 7:2-3NARRATOR: Barack Obama MAY BE THE ONE. But is he ready to lead?

While I found the ad very offensive, I failed to see the directness to the Let Behind series. Thank you for reporting this. It is further proof that the McCain campaign is trying to scare us into voting for him rather than vote on the issues.
I don’t even think McCain is aware that he is being manipulated by the Religious Right and its fear mongering. He just thinks it is funny. Well it is not funny to me, and I am a believer in the truth of the Bible. I don’t like it when people distort the promise of Christ to debase, defame or lie about an other’s good.
To live in Fullness of the promise of God, we must not sin against another with lies and falshoods.

The RNC and McCain are using the smear tactics that Hillary Clinton’s campaign used when she was still in the race. Almost every talking point that he is using is simply her strategy regurgitated and I would like to add that if they must use falsehoods to cover the fact that they are racists, they are toast and I pray that the public is smarter than this. Some Christian friends of mine sent smear emails to me 3.5 months ago, when Hillary was rabidly chasing the nomination. Surely there must be some way of tracing the originators of these terrible whisper smears.
I am beyond horrified that the people who have claimed to own the corner block on moral high ground have been resorting to every type of falsehood to slander this man is truly despicable. Given the promise of God, I should pity the many people that have partiipated in this malice, but frankly, I am having a hard time. The GOP has had control of our government for the better part of the last 30 years and show that they are incapable of sharing or playing fairly. I wonder how God will judge these things.
Also, it this extreme intolerance that is promoted loudly by shock jocks like Hannity and Limbaugh that agitate people like that man that went into the “liberal” church to shoot at the church attendees. Where is the moral obsession with the media to address this type of deliberate and inciting hate speech? The silence is hypocritical.
So much for Christian tolerance and compassion, huh?

to these people, anyone or group who disagrees or argues with them is wrong and “evil”.
i agree with ex-Pentecostal, i think you’re on the mark. They have always had this us or them mentality, which is based in and founded in fear. again as already stated, that they’re telling lies.
This is the same group constantly crying about the Taliban but are essentially using some of the very same tactics.
If you have to use lies against someone, exactly what does this say about them? No answer needed.
This is why so many of the differing Christian sects are standing up against them as they don’t speak or represent ALL Christians.
But i forget, they aren’t “real Christians” because if they were, they’d vote and think just like the GOP.
I am so glad their time is ending! Granted, Obama is still a human being who can and most likely will make mistakes but i’m ready for some honesty rather than the last 8 years of lies, hypocrisy, and “i can do it because i’m President”.

Wasn’t it actually Oprah Winfrey who first started calling Obama “The One?” The ad isn’t religious, it’s just funny. It’s main target isn’t even Obama, it’s all the fatuous, pampered, college brats running around telling us that they’re the ones we’ve been waiting for. This column is the silliest thing I’ve seen since dirty old Bob Herbert saw a phallus in the Tiergarten.

When Hillary Clinton mocked Barack Obama and the angels coming down, I knew right then that she would lose. God cannot be mocked. I was shocked when McCain and his supporters used Moses parting the Red Sea to mock Obama. They do not understand who God is and what He can do. The republicans are blaspheming, using the name of God in vain like they did 8 years ago. Did any of them talk about God during the past 8 years? They were just using the name of God and unsuspecting Christians to get votes so they could advance their wicked ways. They do not understand anything about Judaism and Christianity. Forgive McCain, for he knows not what he does – he’s not a Christian. I certainly hope and pray for all of us that God does not allow any terrible thing to happen to America.

I’m suprised this article doesn’t mention how McCain’s ad falsify’s Obama’s words. Obama was simply saying we have to stop waiting for someone else to solve our problems. We need to be the generation that turns the tide on global warming and environmental destruction. As for the clip saying he has no doubts, I still don’t know what it was he had no doubts about. The ad made it seem he has no doubts that he is the Messiah.
McCain’s ad twists Obama’s commonsense statements into the ravings of a criminally insane megalomaniac. I cannot imagine a more hate-filled way of slandering a political rival.

It’s been said a few other places, but I’ll point it out here as fresh ground. If Obama is the Antichrist, and all Biblical prophecies are true, then the faithful in Christ should be lining up to get him into power. After all, there’s nothing they can do to stop the Will of God, and the sooner the AC is in place, the sooner the Rapture will be coming. There is that nagging little detail about not knowing the day or the hour, etc. Odds are, nobody would be able to ID the AC when he DOES come, anyway. And if you’re NOT fundamentalist Christian, then what do you care about this gibberish anyway? I thought the lesson of the last eight years was that (blind) self-confidence, (shameless) promotion, and certainty (even in the face of evidence) were great virtues in a President.

The truth is simply when the antichrist appears at the time appointed for him to do so, it wont matter whether people are going to vote for him or not. He will do it because the words of the scripture must be fulfilled. But the problem people are having is the level of popularity he enjoys in the U.S and the world, and the way the U.S and world media have made it a policy to be behind Barrack Obama. The media is terribly biased, and no one even bothers to ask Obama the hard questions. It’s almost as if those supporting Obama expect people to go and vote for him without knowing or understanding why. These supporters dont want to give anyone even a little chance to criticize him. Where i live because of the media it has almost become something of a sacrilege to criicize Obama. Although I support what beliefnet is doing about this ad, I also blame them for promoting this horribly blind support for Obama. This problem about whether Obama is the antichrist is totally the media’s fault

I think that this new issue is a veiled attack on McCain protesting “hidden messages” that aren’t there. If the McCain camp asserted the same thing about an Obama (or any other George Soros-purchased) political ad, there would be much snarky commenting about paranoia.
Which is the issue, I suspect. The Obama as JFK myth is coming unraveled as the many millions of dollars he’s taken from Big Lobbying (the major law and investment banking firms of the nation) becomes better known, so Obama’s partisans have to invent phony issues to distract the public.
And this is the phoniest load of gradoo I’ve seen in a long, long time. McCain’s ad people need to focus more on the issues than on the personal attacks on Obama’s pompousness, definitely. The issues actually do separate the two candidates, and the people should know about them.
This ad, however, struck a nerve with Obama supporters because it draws attention to what Obama’s campaign is really about:
the audacity of hype.

A close reading of the Eleison Group (a far-left advocacy group which has been trying to co-opt evangelicals for years to the Democratic Party) analysis of the ad in question – versus the ad itself – shows that the author of the memo brought all of the bad faith and deception of which he complains to the analysis.
Does anyone really think that there are so many readers of the “Left Behind” books that the McCain campaign would spend the money required to make very obscure, esoteric references to passages from them in major media markets? No. LaHaye & Company probably have more people reading their books right now to find stuff McCain’s people supposedly put in that ad than they’ve had in the last two months before the ad.
To someone who hasn’t quaffed deeply of the Obama Kool-Aid, the context and the message of the ad are obvious – Obama has cast himself as the Messiah. His doing, not McCain’s.
Obama’s campaign constantly makes use of religious overtones to put his audiences in a receptive frame of mind. His imagery – especially the “Audacity of Hope” trope – borrows heavily from the religious background of the civil rights struggle. Whether he comes out and says he’s the answer to the uncommitted voter’s prayers or not, that message is there. Obama comes across as very favorably impressed with himself, if he must say so himself.
Again, Obama made the decision to play around with overtures to religious, or at least numinous imagery. McCain’s ad is just calling BS on him for it, and doing it in a way that highlights the absurdity of the Obama message.

Sorry, but Eleison Group isn’t far-left. Your claim is as outlandish as the claims of some in the Democratic party that evangelicals, fed up with the GOP are trying to co-opt their message. Furthermore, their analysis of the ad is pretty accurate, the Left Behind series has sold tens of millions- I’m pretty familiar with it and I’m an atheist. Even discounting the similarities in imagery, though, you can’t watch that ad and not get the subtext of what the McCain camp is trying to say.

If you believe someone else is wrong and you want to tell them so, fine! But speak the truth in LOVE, not in disgust.
Obama and McCain have both put out negative, misleading ads. That’s what politicians do. If you feel like McCain crossed a line with this particular ad, you’re entitled to your feelings. But you probably already had those feelings before you watched the ad. Personally, I find the article above just as insulting as the ad, if not more so. As believers there is nothing to fear with the anti-Christ anyway. The Lord saves. He will come in God’s timing which has been ordained for longer than the world has been around. I think it is a ridiculous ad and entirely misused, plus Biblically the anti-Christ is not Nicolae and many will love him and few to no one will recognize him.

Like Jackie, I get a check in my spirit about Obama. There are just too many doubts about his character, his motives, his great popularity despite his lack of experience as an executor, and his far, far left voting record. (Wouldn’t you agree that voting 4 times to allow an infant who survived an attempted abortion, to just die in the corner of the room, is a great evil?!) It doesn’t mean we give in to Satan’s spirit of fear about him. But it does give us a healthy “fear” or wakening of our spiritual senses to watch closely, pray, and prepare. I don’t know if he is the anti-Christ or not, but many DO love (and follow blindly) him world-wide, and we christians may be the few who do recognize him, Curtis.

Reality check: the Left Behind series is in the “fiction” section of the bookstore. You Bible Belters and “the hair is standing up on the back of my neck” posters, take a deep breath and think about it. The end will come in God’s time. For you to all take a work of fiction and somehow create Obama to be evil is beyond ridiculous.

If you do not understand that secular humanism is a religion and that many look to the government as either Jehovah Jireh or worse yet, as the tool that Christians use to fulfill biblical commands to the poor (the social gospel) and that many see Obama as the man who they have been looking for, then you would not understand this ad.
What serious Christian thought the Left Behind series was non-fiction? The order in Left Behind reverse the biblical order of eschatological events and tends to attract escapists.

If McCain believes Obama is qualified to be the Anti-Christ, shouldn’t that make him more than qualified to be president?

Hey…when all else fails (polls, and responsibility as a terrible debator) let’s scare the bejesus out of people with another ridiculous assertion. If Obama isn’t concerned about this nonsense neither am I. After all, what you resist…persists.
While this type of thing might have worked in the last 8 years, especially for a certain group of fearful people I think most have awakened from the dream and found themselves in a nightmare. The Bush administration made lots of promises to the Christians…but basically did nothing in the way of changing laws in their favor.
One only needs to ask themself if their life is better than it was 8 years ago. More prosperous? More safe? There’s your answer….

Let’s see…lol…98% blacks voted obama; obama’s black, 80% of Jews voted obama; biden Jewish, 80% Hispanics voted obama; illegal alien citizenship, 98% hellywood voted obama; white marxist, 80% College students voted obama; persuaded by marxist and Islamic hate America professors, 100% of Muslims voted obama; obama’s a antichrist Muslim. These groups unified make up the new America. This is what the antichrist Muslim b. hussain was talking about when He said America’s no longer a Christian nation on youtube. The America of old, that of the founding fathers, who 50 of the 52 signers of the US Constitution were Christian, died on 4 November, 2008. O:-) This was the change!
obama is a narcissistic schizoid, and therein being, believes himself to be messiah. This is total antichrist, not solely because he believes it, like many others before him, but because unlike them, through the liberal media complex, he’s able to live it in delusion. This is what makes him the sure antichrist, and makes all who follow him, receiving of the mark of the 666 beast (which is everything of the Word of God destroyed from applying perversion and profanation of it’s truth and goodness dying in evil and lying delusions), obamanites. This is what was foretold of the Prophet Daniel: The desolation (truth adulterated) that maketh the abomination (good profaned) which falleth upon the devastation (truth and good destroyed). Thank you Lord
My friends, hitler 50 years ago brought us the concentration camps and ww2. Millions of people died. Today when one even says Germany the bitter taste of fascism remains palatable in our mouths. Now consider what shall be the thought in the future when one says America, knowing that we’ll be the Country whose allowed, and fostered, the environment by which the antichrist Muslim b. hussain obama (controlled legion) is set upon center stage to rule the world. In which rule within 2 ½ years of his empowerment, shall cause over 2,000,000,000 souls to be imprisoned, tortured, and killed world wide, 100,000,000 of which shall be in America alone. Yes my friends, It’ll be written of America what was foretold in the Holy Book of Revelation regarding Babylon. And even before in Jeremiah in many places verses like unto this: Jeremiah 18:16 To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished, and wag his head.
Der furher hitler will pale in comparison of legion his father, known as b. (berry) hussain obama (bo). Those whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life shall embrace the antichrist. Reporters on the antichrist Muslim obama’s plane complained about a stench. My friends, that sulfurous stench is emanating from evils and lies bonding with devils and satans of hell. Now remember my friends, luis farakan the antisemite, antichrist Muslim obama’s friend, said: hitler was a great man. So make no mistake about it, hitler in the hells of the spiritual realm is definitely breathing in one of those monstrous faces of the controlled legion obama. Selah
America’s founding fathers, did such a wonderful work, in constructing the US Constitution. It has limited antichrist(s) from gaining power over this Country. However, today the prince of power of the air (KJV, Ephesians 2:1-3) has morphed into the liberal media complex, and now we have subversion (acorn) masked, that a antichrist Muslim may be elected fuhrer of the world. This is why the antichrist Muslim b. hussain obama, hates the US Constitiution, and the founding fathers. This is also why his whole campaign is predicated on change. Not change in appearances, but change in principle ideas not in agreement with our founding fathers. This is a typical Muslim and marxist tactic of supplanting, which is at home within the soul, dark soul, of the Muslim antichrist. This was made very clear in his comment, that America is no longer a Christian nation (youtube)?, Whose he referring to? My friends, he’s referring to marxist, Islamist, and hate America groups. Please know, why the terrorist of the world support him, and all terrorist groups are Muslim fascists. This is in agreement with his friend luis farakan who said hitler was a great man? Those of the world shall love the antichrist Muslim b. hussain obama, the old man of prediction spoken of in the Holy Bible. My friends, in these last days of Noah, which we now are in. Let us of the believers, true believers in Christ, strengthen one another, prepare ourselves, and be ready to provide the good testament even unto our deaths.

Preparing the Arrival of the Antichrist.
Worldwide Evil and Misery
The Legacy of the 13 Satanic Bloodlines
The book was BANNED in France.
From the beginning of the world until now the foundation of the Satanic Religion, its basic doctrine has been the conviction that one day Satan will openly rule this world. His ruling and power, however, cannot be exercised by Satan himself as a visible person; for that purpose he constantly needs visible people. He preferably uses influential people that live in sin. With their help he is able to manipulate other people on a large scale. With the help of wilful politicians and other powerful people and organizations he is able to expand his doom scenario further and further. Satan’s elite make every effort to realize the establishment of a One-World dictatorship. As long as they consider the devil to be their god and believe that Satan’s ultimate goal is establishing a dictatorial world power, everybody on earth will experience the daily consequences of this.
In short: in mockery and imitation of God’s ‘Twelve Tribes’, Satan also blessed ‘twelve bloodlines’. These Satanic bloodlines go back far before the birth of Christ. In today’s world these bloodlines can be found in several powerful and worldwide influential families. The members of these exclusive family dynasties belong to the leading Satanists of our world. They consider the devil to be the only and true god.
Above the ‘twelve bloodlines’ is the 13th, or final, bloodline. This Satanic bloodline is copied after God’s royal lineage of Jesus. This bloodline was instilled with the direct seed of Satan. The Antichrist, who will become the visual world leader, will originate from this bloodline! This 13th Bloodline goes as far back as the Merovingians, the Sicambrians, the Greeks, the Roman Empire and the Tribe of Dan.
At first this book evoked mixed feelings within me. On the one hand it is easy to read and through its large number of footnotes and source indications it is very well argued. On the other hand the author presents facts that sound so frightening that they make you quiver – for example the fact that worldwide one out of every five suicides concerns a ritual suicide (or murder). And that worldwide, thousands of babies and children become victim to Satanic Rituals every year! Such facts are hard to comprehend, and when I read that, I put the manuscript aside to do some research on the Internet. I came across the German site of Spiegel-Online which mentioned that three hundred children of poor London immigrants have vanished without a trace. At that moment I thought about the statistics that say that fifty thousand children and teenagers are reported missing every year in the United States – especially around Halloween…
I arranged all the facts. Many facts known until now about secret societies and worldwide conspiracies actually fitted very well with the theories of Robin de Ruiter. And that is how I came to my most important consideration, namely why I think publishing this book is so important. Hundreds of titles about worldwide conspiracies have been published; many books overlap each other and many authors take a walk along the roads of fantasy. Robin de Ruiter, however, does not do this. He is able to grasp his theories and perceptions within a bigger plan. De Ruiter believes that the power of the ruling elite of our world originates from, and is identical to, the power of Satan. Moreover, that ‘Satan’s Empire’, of which the Bible speaks the Antichrist will rule, will be the inevitable outcome. Things such as globalisation, the developments in Israel and the Middle East, the fast arising observation of civilian conduct after 9/11 and, for example, the implantation of RFID-chips all of a sudden become pieces of a puzzle that fit perfectly within the images created by biblical prophecies of the signs of ‘The End of Times’. Suddenly the planned New World Order becomes religiously charged and day by day the connection between the modern globalisation and the biblical Antichrist becomes clearer. With this book Robin de Ruiter leaves nothing and nobody untouched. He reveals – by means of countless facts – the dishonourable procedures behind the scenes of world politics and the all-round presence of a powerful select ‘Elite’: The ‘Predecessors’ of the Antichrist.
This book should be a challenge for anyone who dares to confront the truth and is open to candid discussion of every aspect of the subject matter. Nobody, and especially not the God-fearing people, can shut their eyes from the facts described in this book. They should recognise the signs of ‘The Last Days’, so that one day they will not be surprised by the announced events.
This international bestseller has been translated into many languages and is available in more than 100 countries. Finally also in the United States.

Common Sense

This was a pathetic attempt by McCain. Luckily it didn’t work. What is the most disturbing are the comments listed below here. Some of you really believe this and think Obama is the Anti-Christ. These people are so ignorant, racist and hateful with their comments. Some are calling Obama a Muslim…he’s not. Calling the Jihad, Muslim Fascists…the are not Fascists. Fascism is corporatism. Look up the 14 signs of Fascism and you’ll see that they are not Fascists. You’ll actually see that right wing Neo-Cons that you support are more like fascists. Just because Fox news uses the terminology (Islamo-Fascist) does not make it correct. There are people saying that Yahweh/Yeshua is punishing the people of Asia and will punish the USA next. Doesn’t sound like a loving God or how Jesus acted at all. I think God (if loving) were to do anything first It would help the people starving or dying around the world. It must kill these hicks and hillbillies to see a non 100% euro-american as President of the USA. As for the anti-Christ. Well he died 2000 years ago. Ceasar Nero and Domitian were the anti-Christs. The early Christians wrote in grammatia code. In grammatia code Ceasar Nero adds up to 666. Some bibles have the number 616 instead of 666. In greek Ceasar Nero adds up to 616. Daniel mentioned Egypt, the Medes/Persians, Babylonians, Romans and the Revived Roman empire…but what about the countries in between? Spain, England, The Soviet Union, the USA? These were stories passed down hundreds or thousands of years by illiterate people who used to sacrifice animals while burning incense. The hatred I see below by writers is really sad! What is even more pathetic is that Christians are saying this. You can learn a lot from Jeses by turning the other cheek and loving your enemies. Instead you preach fire and brimstone. Turn or burn philosophy. If there is a Hell and a soul goes there what happens to it? A soul does not have a nervous system or brain to sense pain, fear, sickness, emotions or anything that we can. It’s spiritual. Also couldn’t a spiritual being just pass through its walls or gates? How do you burn a spirit? Spirits would have no need for fire. Plus if God is omni-present then It (God is an It..It does not reproduce…sorry the men from the midle east 4000 years ago were pretty sexist) would still be in you and in Hell. I could go on and on. Jesus taught tolerance and kindness. He did not teach pre-emptive strikes and burning down Planned Parenthoods clinics.
