I am a flower nut.  One of my favorite things in the springtime is to look at God’s beautiful creation through His gift of flowers.  There will probably be more flowers than words in this blog, because there is nothing I can say to add to their beauty.

I am always amazed at the intricate designs and patterns of flowers.  The colors are spectacular and often the fragrance is intoxicating.  I love daffodils.  Does anyone know how many varieties of daffodils there are?  I have about six or eight in my flower beds.

There are all kinds of flowering bushes and trees also.  My favorite is the Red bud or Dogwood.  This is a Flowering Almond Bush.   I also have a Clove Bush, Lilacs, Forsythia, and a couple that I can’t even name.  They all are different and all are beautiful.  I would have my whole yard in flowers if my husband would agree.  He likes flowers, but not that much.  I think he prefers the roses of summer.

Just as each flower is molded and shaped in it’s own special way, so are we.  I have one daffodil that has 3 blooms on each stem and one that is a miniature daffodil.  They are all of the same family, but each unique in it’s own way; just like us.  Creation is a marvelous thing whether we are talking Spring flowers or people.  God always knows just the right colors, style, and traits that fit us best.
