It never ceases to amaze me how all the drabness of Winter turns into beautiful new life in the  Spring.  All the old deadness and ugliness suddenly changes with the hope of warm weather.  These weeping cherry trees show the vast difference between the seasons. During the winter they look dead and cold, and covered with snow.  Now it is vibrant , beautiful and full of blossoms.

We all have seasons in our lives just as there are seasons in the earth. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under Heaven.” Spring is always the best.  It is a time for new growth, new hope, new vision, and new purpose.

In the natural realm we see lovely flowering trees and bushes, as well as gorgeous flowers everywhere.  We have iris, tulips, crocus, daffodils, hyacinths and more growing in our yard.  We also have the flowering cherry trees, a flowering almond tree and a clove bush.

Even the animals know when it is Spring.  That is when most of them have their young.  Once again bringing new life into our world.  Is there anything sweeter than a baby lamb or a litter of tiny kittens?  I think babies of any kind are cute, even snakes and lizards.

Spring is a perfect time to bring new life into our relationships also.  Relationships with family and friends, but especially with Jesus.  There is always something we can do to make that relationship stronger and more meaningful.  Getting to know Jesus is always an awesome experience.  Just spending a little more time with Him is a start.  Doing more good works is very rewarding.  Giving away smiles and cookies will bring a smile to others.  The opportunities are endless.

Let’s allow the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit to blow over us and show us exactly what areas we need to bring new life.  God is good; He will not disappoint us
