I have great fun while frosting cookies with my grand daughter, Erin.  She is only 5 and still thinks grandma is the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Last week we had to make some Christmas cookies early because we had Christmas with part of the family the day after Thanksgiving.

We had three colors of frosting and 5 dozen cookies to do.  I did most of the frosting and Erin was the sprinkle girl.  She had to sample the frosting every now and then, just to make sure it was fit to eat.  We had a regular assembly line going.

Erin got a little heavy on the colored sugars, but oh, what fun we had.  I had frosting up to my elbows and on my blouse and Erin had frosting and sprinkles in her hair.  When we walked through the kitchen, we could hear the sugar crystals crunching.  But all that didn’t matter when you saw the yummy cookies all over the table.

By the time the family had all gone home on Sunday, all these cookies were gone.  Never underestimate the power of a cookie
