As I look out my window at the beautiful colors of my trees and watch the leaves float down in the afternoon breeze, I wonder how anyone could not believe in God.  My happy little squirrel is stealing bird seed from the feeder and the last rose of summer is in full bloom.

If there is no God, how did all this beauty come to be?  I have seen the high mountains and I have sailed the Caribbean Sea.  I have seen sand dunes that seem as if they were dropped from the sky.  In New Mexico, there’s a formation named Shiprock.  It is a huge rock formation in the shape of a ship, right in the middle of the desert.  Now how in the world did that get there?

Who tells the birds what tune they are to sing, if there is no God?  Who said the sky should be blue and the grass should be green, if there is no God?  Who makes the sun come up every morning and go down every evening?  Who decided what dirt smells like?  Who chose for the platypus to have a bill and a duck to have webbed feet?

Who made our body such a wonder?  Our blood is blue until it hits the air, then it turns red.  Why do we have only 5 fingers and toes instead of 8?  Who put DNA in our hair?  Is there a reason that we don’t all have blue eyes?

Psalm 139:14 tells us, ” I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”  Who made us so mysteriously?  Who created our personality?  Who knew that we would have dimples, before we were born?  I conclude that it was God who did all these marvelous acts.

Others can say what they want, but I see no other explanation for all these wonderful things.  There is most certainly a God and He is the maker and master of the universe and all that lies within.  He is a good and loving God, who cares about all of His creations.  He is an awesome, God who does all things well.

Don’t tell me there is no God, because I know Him personally as not only the creator of all things; but also as a loving Father.  He is all knowing and all powerful.  He knows you and loves you more that you will ever understand. He will always take care of us.  He is faithful and  true in all things. He that is the God I know.
