Freedom!

posted by Ruth Graham

We celebrate our freedom this week with all sorts of travel, family time, picnics, fireworks and all manner of festivities. Have a safe and wonderful time.

Our freedom is not free. It was bought with blood. We dare not take it for granted.

We are free far more than just nationally. We are free spiritually because of the blood of Jesus. We can be free from the masks we wear, the pretense we carry, the trying to be good enough, from the shame and guilt. Jesus has set us free! Now that is something to celebrate not just this week but every week of the year.

If you don’t want to spend a fortune on a large, elaborate wedding then you probably are considering eloping. If this is the case, then finding the best places to elope should be on your agenda. You want to make this task as stress-free as possible so that it will be something that you truly look forward to. The Iron Dome
Last Saturday night, my little town did its fireworks - we do them the week after the 4th. As I crawled into bed, I could hear all the booms and see the glow from the explosions in the distance. Of course, I couldn't help but think of those in war-torn areas of he world. I remember being in Sar

A Pedophile's Dream...Sex Traffickers Welcome!
There is a lot of talk about the immigration issue and the situation on our Southern border. But I have not heard anyone mention that having all these unaccompanied children in our border states and beyond is a real dream come true for pedophiles and sex-traffickers. Strangers are allowed to step fo

What Cancer Cannot Do
It seems as if cancer is an epidemic! Sometimes I wonder if it is the stress-filled and face -paced lives we all live that create the environment for cancers. Everyone knows someone suffering from it - it robs so much from  the person and family. Someone passed this on to me. It is so well don
