I just learned that my friend, Dan Peek, one of the original three members of the band America died today at the age of 60.

I’m stunned.

He was a gentle, talented, funny and wonderfully gifted man. I’m at a bit of a loss at this moment – not sure on the details – we were in touch very recently (he lived on a farm in Missouri) and all seemed well. I am simply heartbroken over this… Dan had a deep, strong faith that he spoke of often. He was very proud of that and let it be known.
