Obviously, forgetting history since it was the Democrats who tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act and it was the Republicans who ended slavery:We all know the Republicans aren’t the problem with passing health care. Reid has a filibuster-proof majority, Republican votes aren’t need at all. It’s his own party that isn’t happy with the bill and he has to do the impossible: pass a bill that has a public optionish component (here’s another way for compromise) and limits abortion enough to keep the pro-aborts and the pro-lifers on board.
