Further proof that it’s the left who can’t see past race. First we have this guy’s interpretation of our corporate outrage over Kanye West’s classless(and maybe drunken) act of taking the mic from Taylor Swift to insert himself in her moment. He sees an “older black man” accosting a “little white girl:”

I won’t go so far as to suggest that everyone was flipped out that this angelic little white girl (and she is super-cute) was accosted by a probably drunk (West was, again according to MTVNews.com, “photographed holding a bottle of Hennessey on VMA red carpet.”)–and definitely crazy–older black man. I’ll keep that thought to myself, but I’ll keep thinking it.

While the rest of us just see an ego out of control.
And here is Maureen Dowd on Joe Wilson’s outburst:

The normally nonchalant Barack Obama looked nonplussed, as Nancy Pelosi glowered behind.
Surrounded by middle-aged white guys — a sepia snapshot of the days when such pols ran Washington like their own men’s club — Joe Wilson yelled “You lie!” at a president who didn’t.
But, fair or not, what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy!

She heard the unspoken word, but I certainly never did. What does that say about her that she expects that word when dealing with a black man?
BTW, Obama admits that Joe Wilson was right.
