Very funny skit! I laughed through the first half but thought the second half dragged 🙂 I think you get an insight into liberal humor with it. It’s funny that they exaggerated Biden’s comments for the sake of humor (and it was pretty effective) but they read the left wing nutty view of Christianity into Palin’s remarks. As humor, it doesn’t work. As propaganda, it only works with the base. The rest of us can see through it. (Though the bit about the talent part of the debate was pretty funny 🙂Here’s Gwen Ifill’s take on the debate and the SNL skit. How convenient that Brokaw didn’t play the bit about the book. Nice of him to save his colleague the embarrassment, eh?
