Evidently gang members are wearing religious jewelry:

“I went to school, walked through the metal detectors and they told me to take it off,” the teen said. “I asked them why and they said because it’s gang-related.”

Her mom had given it to her and now she’s ready to sue. Hopefully common sense will prevail and the girl will be able to wear her rosary again.
