The angle of this story is that the thief was caught because a friend of the grandson of the woman who was robbed texted the thief and called the cops to arrest her but I thought it was amazing that the thief turned out to be the mom of the teenager who had the cell phone. She beats up a f90-year old for it and then sold it to her teenager. That’s just an amazing family dynamic. If she’s going to involve her child in her criminal activities, she might warn her not to respond to such an obvious trap.
