ichthus_logo_01Next week, I will head to Wilmore, KY for the annual Ichthus Music Festival. This 3-day event takes place across several square miles of Kentucky farmland, and features dozens of Christian speakers, artists, musicians and ministries. Over 15,000 people will gather at Ichthus.

I’ll be speaking on Thursday on the Main Stage, Friday at the Youth Pastor Tent, and Saturday at the Deep End Stage. HopeChest is coming with me, and we’re bringing the slums of India with us. We’re transforming our tent into a little piece of India for festival-goers to experience. Walk through a slum experience, passing many of the dangers and pitfalls that children experience every day on their way to the Good Samaritan School.

The journey through the slums in our tent ends at the Good Samaritan School, where you will hear stories from the founder and the students who will tell you how God has radically transformed their lives. Your community can become part of that transformation through HopeChest.

Part of our mission at Ichthus is to connect even more churches, communities, pastors, and leaders to the work of the Good Samaritan School in India. If you are interested, contact us now. We are setting up meetings on site at Ichthus to meet with you and tell you about how your church or community can start a transformational ministry opportunity to help kids in India.

If you aren’t going to Ichthus and you are interested, contact us too! Just leave a comment on this post and we’ll follow up.
