Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20,21)

Father,

I give you all glory and praise! My heart and soul celebrate your power!

You are able. Lord, let those three words permeate my deepest being:  You. Are. Able. You are able and capable, yes. But, as a man once asked you, “Are you willing?” You answered unequivocally, “Yes!” Yes, you are willing and able where my needs are concerned!

As I present to you my cares and concerns, you will know that some of them are heavy on my heart. All of them are important to You, for your Word encourages me that the details of my life are dear to you.

Your ability to come to my aid is due to the mighty power working in me. So, Lord, work in me! Yes! I invite you with your power to work deeply, and through that mighty power at work in my spirit, get things done! With your power I will finish the tasks you have ordained for me to do since the beginning of time.

Father, please clarify those objectives! I so often zig zag through life, flitting here and there, and not always streamlining my priorities prayerfully. This is my prayer:  show me what to do; prioritize my moments, my goals, my world, my stuff, and my life. This way I can accomplish infinitely, unimaginably more than I would on my own. But I am not on my own! Hallelujah, I am Yours!

So I close this prayer the way I started:  I give you all glory! And all praise!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
