This Same Power – This Same Strong Hand and Powerful Arm

posted by Mark and Jill

“Remember the miraculous signs and wonders, and the strong hand and powerful arm with which he brought you out of Egypt.

The Lord your God will use this same power…Do not be afraid…for the Lord your God is among you,

and he is a great and awesome God.” Deuteronomy 7:19,21

The strong hand of Jesus is reaching out to you. He’s reaching out to touch you, heal you, strengthen you, encourage you, and lift you above despair. Grab on to the hand that has done mighty things in history. Real history. There is nothing mythological about it. God has performed miracle upon miracle for His children, and He continues to this day. What is the miracle you need? This same Strong Arm that delivered Israel from slavery and healed a man’s deformed hand and fed thousands of people with minimum supply and parted the Red Sea and made the stars…He lives, and He loves you. Can you reach out your hand in faith into His? Feel that strong grasp, strong enough to hold you up in your time of deepest need.

Jesus,

I reach my hand up to you. Thank you for reaching down to me.

Pick me up and carry me. Strengthen me and teach me to love as you love,

loving you and loving every person in my life without exception.

Thank you that you are available to help me do the impossible.

Amen.

My Unruly, Devastating Tongue. I Repent.
If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. James 1:26 We can make a large horse go wherever we want by means of a small bit in its mouth. And a small rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot choose

The Shortest Prayer Can Be the Most Powerful

Why Not Fear Not?
The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me.  Psalm 118:6,7a NLT The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?   Psalm
