Tears In A Bottle

posted by Mark and Jill

Every tear that you’ve ever shed is saved, valued, and treasured by God. David spoke this prayer, both poetry and Truth:

You keep track of all my sorrows.
You have collected all my tears in your bottle.
You have recorded each one in your book.”
Psalm 56:8 NLT

Father,

It is amazing to me that every tear that I have shed has been caught up by you and treasured. You are a God of compassion and with a promise that will never fail me. You will never bail on me. Even in the times when I have abandoned you, you never left me. Never. I will hold on to that promise while you hold on to my tears.

Amen
