Gramma GoodWhat a GOOD day! This is my very first blog for Beliefnet and grammas! My faith has kept me strong throughout my life, as a matriarch of my blended family. I started GrammaGood.com to connect grandmothers together, where we can share our values, beliefs, inspiration and faith that we impart to our grandchildren.

My life is a mixture of the bitter and the sweet, the joys and the mishaps, the good and the bad, and throughout it all I have lived a life of values my parents taught me, which has always proved to land me on my feet. I always see the glass half full and make lemonade out of lemons. This is what I teach my grandchildren through the set of values that make up the recipe of Gramma Good.

My inspiration to connect grandmothers from all over the world together kept my faith strong. I was never a writer and have never blogged. The first thing I had to do was purchase my computer—an Apple! I fell in love with the Apple. I fell in love with Steve Jobs and his brilliance. I fell in love with his beautiful stores and his beautiful products. I just had to own one! It was this computer that started moving fate and determination along. I learned to type by purchasing the disc Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing.
I climbed out of bed every morning, as my husband slept and quietly went to my desk, because my inspiration to start this community for grandmas kept me going. As the sun was starting to come up, I would sit in front of my computer with my dog, Orchid, at my side, looking out over the water and listening to the soothing voice of Mavis teach me the rules of typing. I loved every minute of it. But then, I love life.
