Boob Cancer (A Ditty) – Michelle Ward

posted by Prayables

She’s got boob cancer.  Her words not mine. Michelle Ward has a sense of humor when it comes to her recent diagnosis of breast cancer. Heck, she’s a funny straight shooter when it comes to life in general; she’s not going to let breast cancer change her.

So Michelle made a YouTube video. With a pink toy ukulele, she sings a little ditty, “But listen, it’s really going to be OK, my ass has always been my best feature anyway. I never got attention from my pair of 20 A’s,  getting insurance covered C cups if they have to go away—wouldn’t be so baaaaad.

Funny stuff. Not exactly your typical go-to material for comedy. But isn’t that what humor is about? Finding things that happens to us in life, and making fun of it. Even boob cancer.

Boob Cancer (A Ditty) Lyrics – Michelle Ward

What I’m about to tell you might ruin your day,
so please feel to go on your way.
Turns out I got a bad health report
and I soon won’t be playing any sports,
that’s OK I don’t willingly play sports anyway.

But seriously, feel free to stop this song.
But if you don’t,
it won’t take too long,
to sayyyyy,

I got boob cancer,
yes I got boob cancer.
But don’t feel bad for me
cuz I got to get a lumpectomy.

Yes I rhymed me with me.

I got boob cancer,
Oh, I got boob cancer.
But don’t let it ruin your day
cuz I just wouldn’t want it that way.
It sucks, what more can I say?
I got boob cancer.

At the age of 33,
it’s not what you expect
I’ve admit it made everyone a nervous wreck.
You think my news would be about a daughter or a son,
but hey I’ve always liked to beat to my own drum

But listen,
it’s really going to be OK
my ass has always been my best feature anyway.
I never got attention from my pair of 20 A’s,
getting insurance covered C cups if they have to go away—
wouldn’t be so bad.

I got boob cancer,
yes I got boob cancer
I totally agree it is ridic,
but I’m going to give it a kick,
the wrong lady it did pick.

I got boob cancer
yes I got boob cancer.
It’s the stupidest thing I ever heard
this cancer is for the birds
It’s a worse than a big fat turd.

I got boob cancer.

One last thing,
I don’t want to fail to mention.
I’ve always loved being the center of attention.
So feel free to talk about me
and send good stuff my way,
like prayers or thoughts or choo-choo,
or whatever you may,
because…..

Sing it like me,

I got boob cancer
Yes, I got boob cancer.

You’d think it would want a bigger home
with more room for it to roam
Listen, I’m basically working with a studio apartment here,
You think the cancer would prefer a four bedroom with a pool,
Thank you I’ll be here all week

Oh I’ve got
boob cancer.
Big finish

Isn’t that most adorable boob cancer song you ever heard?
