You slip on your cozy slippers and make your way into the kitchen, where you are met with a hot bowl of steel cut oats, a bowl of fresh fruit, a poached egg perhaps (yum, I’m getting hungry). You sit at the table and before you eat (and/or afterwards – your choice) you chant your morning mantra and the fat mysteriously melts away!!!

A Tushkateer (member of the Kick in the Tush Club) writes … How can I take this “miracle” of learning and experience a permanent change in how I use/relate to food. I have had some less than stellar choices the last few days and feel a little frustrated with myself that I can have two sides to my process of change. One part of me that is one board and one that wants to maintain the status quo.

f this tsunami of gloomy feelings comes at the end of a cold or dreary January, after feeling so high and so sure that this year would be the year, forgetaboutit. We have hit into the trifecta of upset: Broken resolve, busted zippers, heavy hearts.
