Last night, Siobhan Magnus was voted off American Idol. One of the things I like most about Siobhan is her authenticity, her level of comfort with herself. As Oscar Wilde said, “Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken.” And Sioban did just that! I’m hoping we will see more of her!

I was talking to one of my star weight loss clients (you are all stars), who has permanently lost over 35 pound. Yes, JB is thrilled about that, but she is still having difficulty loving herself, because she’s kind of down on her thighs. They are not perfect thighs. They are not stick thin thighs like you see in the magazines; they are not air-brushed thighs. After an interesting conversation that was filled with aha moments, I decided to share a few tips on how to love yourself, love your thighs.

Today is National Hugging Day! I’ve already hugged three people! And in doing so, I realized that hugging is a bit more complex than just grabbing someone and squeezing! Not everyone welcomes a full frontal hug! Go figure!!!
