Always in search of a new fruit or vegetable, you can imagine my delight when this morning, while squeezing fruit at the Olive Market (125th street between Madison and Fifth Avenues), I stumbled upon the mysterious Kumato.
As you may have heard, there was a massive egg recall on Wednesday. Salmonella contamination was reported to be found in specific boxes of eggs from Wright County Egg in Galt,Iowa. These eggs were distributed to California, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
