I don’t know if you know this or not – but listen up – because this is a ‘learning’ that can change your life.
You cannot break a habit; you can only create new ones.
The bad news: Those old habits that you’d like to unplug and toss are there to stay. Once installed, and the ‘bad’ ones have probably been around for more than a decade or two or even three, no? – they are seriously difficult to uproot and send on their way.
The good news: As you install empowering habits and practice them; as your new habits build strength, they will become the dominate habits. Your old habits – the ones that you are just busting to dump, the ones that are no longer useful to you will get quiet – real quiet. So quiet, in fact, that they will no longer rule the day, rule your mind or your weight. Imagine that!
