We all know that drinking water is an absolute must!

Water covers approximately 70 percent of the earth’s surface and is an essential component in most living things. Our bodies are more than 75 percent water, our blood is more than 80 percent water, our muscles more than 75 percent water and our brains more than 76 percent water!

Water is a natural appetite suppressant and helps us to digest our food. It even promotes weight loss and helps the body to metabolize fat into energy.

Did you hear that???? WATER HELPS THE BODY TO METABOLIZE FAT INTO ENERGY.
I’m going to say it again, because I clearly need to hear it again. WATER HELPS THE BODY TO METABOLIZE FAT INTO ENERGY.

Yet, people tell me that they do not drink water, because they fear that they are going to have to go to the bathroom at inopportune times.  Like when there is none to be found!  Perhaps when driving to work, or taking a long hike through the park … you get the idea, yes?

For a moment, please consider what happens when you water a dry plant.  The water goes right through the dirt and out the bottom of the pot.  However, when you keep the soil that holds your plant moist, when watered, it does not run through.  The water gets absorbed into the soil.

We are the same.  If you are dehydrated and you drink water, it will go right through you and you will have to find a bathroom … fast!  However, if you stay hydrated, your body will adjust and you won’t have to run to the toilet!!!

So … hydrate thyself!  Stay hydrated.  It’s far too important for your heath and your happy weight not to!!!  Got it???

Good!!!
