Could be!!! New Scientist Magazine reported that preliminary findings from the World Health Organization found that the noises that we do our best not to hear during the dark of the night …
– the screaming neighbor
– the ever-beeping car alarm
– the roar of the train
– the blast from the jet flying overhead e
– the ear-piercing police car
… can have a negative impact on our health!
Waking up numerous times throughout the night causes a great deal of stress, which in turn can cause cardiovascular disease. In addition, studies show that those of sleep less, weigh more!
For those of us who live in the quiet country, be grateful!
For those of us who live in the noise – short of moving, try earplugs, white sound, calming music.

    Janice,you are absolutely right and i agree with you,all the way.
    I have been working graveyard like 2years now and it’s not fun.If it’s not for babysitting my girls,i wouldn’t work these hours,and for some reasons why i have to work at night,being up working all night works with my life’s necessities.Janice,i do experience hearing many sounds during the day i am sleeping like those ones you ahve mentioned and then,i can feel the effect on me,less sleep,and i am sad for no reason,just sad and i wish it goes away fast,but until i get a good long sleep,i believe i am little grumpy,lol,and lazy to open the window of my dad who i know is always waiting for me,and i feel so sorry because not only i am feeling low energy but absorbed too with my duty,but it is always my goal to accomplish my duty before pleasure,well,before my daddy,lol.
