Diet Tip Tuesday: Freeze Your Fat

Want to wake up fast? Force the toxins and oils out of your skin?
And … Give your metabolize a boost?
Take a cold shower.
Yikes! I know, freezing cold is excruciatingly painful. So here’s what to do.
Start off with a hot shower. Ease your way into cold.
After you are feeling comfortable (but not so comfortable, you’re falling asleep against the shower wall), start moving the water knob towards cold. That’s right … a little bit at a time, until it IS cold. Stay with cold until you want to scream and then, put it back to hot for one minute. Back to cold for one minute.
Do this back n’ forth thing; hot to cold, cold to hot, hot to cold. It’s important to end your shower in cold mode.
As you step out of the shower note how refreshed, wide awake, invigorated you feel, and know that your metabolism is in motion.
Do please try this for one week, and then let me know how your life has changed.
Remember … Small changes equal big results.

    Well, I do know that this can not hurt you as long as you do not scald yourself or pass out and hit your head. I also know that this helps keep the skin firm young and healthy and that the Northern Icelandic countries and many cultures have done this with saunas for thousands of years. So, even though I am not looking for weight loss, I do like what it can do for the skin and metabolism and that it is not detrimental unless of course you happen to do the aforementioned things like scalding yourself or passing out.

    I am very interested in this. I just recently learned about this freezing cold diet. I am going to try this tommorrow morning for a week and let everyone know how it goes. I heard that you can burn up to 300 calories a day by changing your body temperature. Also, I read that if you drink ice cold water instead of just cold water that you could burn even more. Gunna give this a try
