Diet Tip Tuesday: Fidget Your Way Thin (Lose 1 Pound)

Did you know that ‘lean’ people fidget on average 150 minutes a day more than their ‘chubby’ counterparts? They tap their feet and fingers, twirl their hair, use their hands and arms to talk. In other words, they fidget!
Any type of movement requires energy, and fidgeting is definitely movement. Fidgeting is a Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT). And fidgeting is a fabulous way to get through a day when you’re chained to your desk, stuck on a plane, or watching TV. Simple tap your feet, wiggle in your seat, and play that keyboard loud throughout the day logging in total one NEAT hour!
You can burn an extra 350 calories per day, which translates to 3500 calories in 10 days or one pound permanently removed just by increasing your NEAT!
So … get busy. Start fidgeting now!!!
