Watch It! Celebrate Moon Day: Moon Pies (original footage)

In commemoration of the day that man first walked on the moon, July 20, 1969, Our Lady of Weight Loss invites you to join with us in celebrating Moon Day! We’re going to whip up a batch of Moon Pies (recipe below), watch the original footage of the event (above), and then cue up our favorite movie, Apollo 13.On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11, was launched from Cape Kennedy Space Center. On July 20, 1969, the Lunar Module called the Eagle, touched down on the moon. “The Eagle has landed,” announced Commander Neil Armstrong. A few hours later, on behalf of all mankind, Commander Neil Armstrong placed one foot upon the moon’s surface and proclaimed, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.”Guilt Free Moon Piefor those who are craving chocolate but don’t want to get weighed-down by the calories and fat!Ingredients:Graham Crackers, Low-Fat1 Small Box of JELL-O Instant SUGAR-FREE/FAT FREE Chocolate Fudge Pudding Mix(4 serving size)2 Cups of SKIM Milk6 Egg Whites + 1.5 Teaspoons of Cream of Tartar + 2 Tablespoons of Raw SugarInstructions:Take a sleeve of graham crackers and break, smash and pulverize into crumbs.Line a pie plate with them! Put aside.Make the chocolate pudding (follow instructions on box).Pour chocolate pudding on top of graham cracker crust. Refrigerate until cold.Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and sugar, vigorously until fluffy.Add to top of pie.Put on moon shaped plates and eat as you gaze upon the mysterious 2 moons!Happy Moon Day!Spread the word … NOT the icing!Janice———————————————–Curious about coaching?     Make sure we don’t get choked up while eating your pie and gazing upon that mysterious moom pie Janice.I wanna eat that moon pie Janice,but i don’t know when and how i find time to make it,lol.but anyway,just gazing the moonpie picture satisfies my appetite becaus i really just can’t budget my time to bake one,lol.Maybe,tomorrow…i’ll have some,not today Janice,nope!I can imagine how good those mysterious moonpie can be.thanks Janice and ciao.lol.
