Dancing With the Stars: Niecy Nash Sheds Tears not Pounds

Kelly Osbourne danced away 42 pounds last season. Jennie Garth, Mya , Mel B. from the Spice Girls, Jane Seymour, Lisa Rina and Marie Osmond (while on Nutrisystems) toned their arms, lifted their butts, and dropped at least 100 pounds (combined total).
Niecy Nash, however, star of “Reno 911″ is dedicating her dance performance to “thick girls everywhere.” Niecy proclaims that she’s not like most people. She likes her “jiggly parts,” and she’s in favor of “a little junk in the trunk!” The only thing she is shedding are real tears, for a cause that is near and dear to her heart … LOVE!
Last night, Louis van Amstel and Niecy Nash danced for love, true love, forbidden love. The thought of Niecy not being able to be with her true love brought tears to her eyes. And Louis van Amstel, caught in the moment himself, danced for ‘illegal’ love.
Niecy, a comedian who lives “in a world of jokes,” who is confident in her own skin and and size, put herself in a vulnerable position. Those were real tears.

Your column is very inspiring… you were at the same place in life I am now, not actually the weight, even though Ive been there…bravo to you! But all the rest is the same… I am a relatively outgoing person and love people… but of late, lost my job, and sunk into a deep low, live in a small town where seems that any kind of job is too far for pay…I HATE the way my life is right now, and wanna set goals and dreams, but just cant get there… also on the brink of turning 50 and have read so many things from women who have truely seen their 50s as the best years of their life, but the thought is scareing me to death… dont feel that old, dont wanna be that old, but of coarse you cant change that.I have read and read inspirational things trying to get out of my funk, just cant see the light! I want to be like you I want to find that new life, that new dream, that new goal, I want to be better, do better, smile more, love life, family, friends… please help!

I can’t believe how much weight she’s lost and how elegant she is now. It’s like it’s not her. I read here (http://www.diets2h.com) about how exactly she managed to lose 40 pounds and it was surprising to see it’s not the typical “count calories all day long”. Way to go, Kelly!!
