BUT, really I do * I don’t get enough sleep * I don’t want to * My mother didn’t praise me as a child. * My mother was an over-eater. * All the women in my family are fat. * Quality Control – I’m a Catering Director of a Hotel, constantly around food, talking about food, trying new menu items, etc. My excuse is “it’s my job to taste the food” * The devil made me do it! * I’m big boned! * Most of the above! * All of the above!
This game is inspired by Sandy D., a participant in The Holiday Diet: Wake Up Thinner on New Year’s Day! She got hip to her excuses and declared it “No Excuses November.” Sandy realizes that her excuses are getting in her way as they weigh her down!

    Try wearing wearable weights like “Body Togs” anatomically designed weighted sleeves worn on your arms & legs under your clothes. Put them on in the morning and you literally forget you have them on while increasing your calorie burn, muscle tone & bone density! Weighted vests work great too!

    I’m a guy but I’ve encountered many of those excuses in my personal life as well. How about this excuse…’my wife loves me even when I am overweight.’ Think about that…when your mate loves you without condition it is sometimes hard to get motivated. She loves me the same whether fat or skinny…I am now on a plan to insure that she can love me for more years…and so I can be there for my soon to be three girls.

    I’ve used so many of these excuses. This time of year, my worst ones are “It’s too rainy/windy to exercise outdoors” and “My apartment’s too small to exercise indoors.”
    Of course, then my hubby moves a few chairs aside and shows me that yes, I DO have room (gotta love him; he pushes me, but in a gentle way).
