Our Lady of Weight Loss

Susan Boyle rushed to hospital: Was it worth it?

Just hours after falling from grace, from an expected sure thing, to second place in the Britain’s Got Talent finals, Susan Boyle was whisked off in an ambulance to a London clinic under police escort, reportedly for treatment of exhaustion. Sources say that she was upset and angry after her defeat.
One can only imagine how emotionally drained Susan must have been. Pumped up and let down! After all, she’d become an overnight celebrity thanks to the YouTube video of her audition performance, which has received close to 100 million views since it first hit in April.
Questions arise:
Was it worth the pressure?
What really matters?
What is happiness?
What is greatness?
Weigh in, please!

Can’t speak to the pressure she was under because I can only imagine what that must have been like~ having every move monitored.
I am just sad that she felt like she had “lost”.
Even though she wasn’t voted as the official winner she did win the hearts and admiration of people around the globe. I think that victory could be parlayed into anything she could want for herself.
I know I would really enjoy listening to a cd of her music. I’m sure I’m not alone.
While many strive for it fame does not equal happiness. I hope she does find happiness and that she keeps singing.
    You go Susan!

I agree with Diana. I think that Susan won even tho she lost this contest. Can you imagine singing on that stage in front of all of those people? I would have been too frightened to open my mouth!
I will buy her albums or CDs whenever she makes them. I think she is great!
