Hi, Janice — You’re spot on here. As someone who’s lived without practicing food addiction for over twenty years (and kept off sixty pounds — I think the same amount as you), I remember very well that feeling of hopelessness. But there is hope. To any of your readers who are struggling: there is a way out. Thanks for helping people find it. — Victoria

  • Your Name

    Janice,
I lost over 100 pounds. But, the last few pounds go up and down. When someone talks about how good I look I eat to gain back the weight. I also know that when a guy talks to me, I try not to talk to that person again or don’t be in the same social setting.
I eat at night and then have nightmare. I eat sweets during the day.
I am full but still eat. Fear is part of the problem. I hope that I will be able to get and keep off the 25 pounds that have gone up and down for the last 5 years.
    Thanks.

Yes, dear Janice, the Christmas cookies and treats really got a hold of me this past December! ARG.. But I am back on track (for the millionth time) I am NOT deleting your news letters, but reading them again..I have kept off 40 of my 60 pounds, none the less I want to loose some more.First the 20 pounds of cookies and treats on my butt really have to go and then I have to loose another 50 to look like I would like. And yes, I do have a gym membership and the workout clothes are in the car… now I just have to stop there more often!.. I have been asked to be Matron Of Honor at a friend’s wedding in 2011- I will turn 60 that year and plan to be the best looking 60 year old there!
    Thanks for being there!
