The Blueberry Cure: slow aging, prevent cancer, fight infection, end constipation

Unassuming Blueberries: Powerful Little Disease Busters by Janice Taylor, Life & Wellness Coach, 50 Pound Big-Time-Loser
Whether you want to bust a disease, age gracefully, or are simply in need of a tush-kickin’ recipe, this yum delicious blog-post is for YOU!
Blueberries On Top: Tufts University analyzed over 60 types of fruits and vegetables, while the U.S. Department of Agriculture Human Nutrition Center studied over 40 different types of fruits and vegetables. In both studies, blueberries came out on top, easily the best source of antioxidants (antioxidants help to prevent cellular damage that can lead to cancer), rating highest in their capacity to destroy free radicals. (For the scientific minded, here’s a link to Understanding Free Radicals and Antioxidants.)
Blueberries help to cure diarrhea, prevent and relieve constipation, fight infection. They lower cholesterol and (like cranberries) blueberries inhibit urinary tract infections. Blueberries are loaded with Vitamin C, which helps to fight cataracts, and flavonoids, which aid in improved circulation. Their potassium levels maintain fluid balance and keep blood press at normal levels.
Blueberries may even reduce the effects of aging as they improve balance, coordination and short-term memory. (I’ll have a bucket, please.)
Household Tip
Want to know how to remove blueberry stains? Soak the fabric for a long time in sour milk. Rinse and wash in warm water. Good luck!
Beatific Blueberry Sauce (from Our Lady of Weight Loss)
Pour this sauce on your toast, on top of your fruit, low-fat ice cream, yogurt or just by the spoonful. It’s devilishly divine!
Ingredients:

1/4 cup water
1/4 cup (organic) light brown sugar
juice from one freshly squeezed lmone
1 pint of blueberries
Directions:
In small sauce pan, heat water with light brown sugar until dissolved.
Add lemon juice.
Then the blueberries.
Just keep cookin’ and stirrin’ until it breaks down and it’s all saucy.
Spread the word, NOT the icing!

    Washington Blueberries … Super Blues
The Washington Blueberry season is underway and that means Washington residents can get fresh locally-grown blueberries, either at your local market or take the family and pick your own. To find the nearest Washington blueberry farm and get some great blueberry recipes, visit http://www.superblues.org.
Blueberries great on top of a bowl of cereal or just pop ‘em in your mouth. They’re also one of the few fruits that hold up well when frozen, so you can quick freeze them and enjoy even in the dark days of winter.

I want to raise my own blueberry bushes. However, I live in Sacramento where it often reaches 100 degrees heat in mid-summer. QUESTION: IS IT POSSIBLE TO RAISE BLUEBERRY BUSHES IN SUCH A HOT CLIMATE? I could plant the bushes under my Bay Laurel tree where they could be shaded part day. If the heat prohibits healthy bushes, then I will simply continue to buy the frozen ones from Costco. I AM A FIRM BELIEVER OF THE GOOD BENEFITS OF BLUEBERRIES.

Constipation is a condition of the digestive system. The sufferer has hard feces that are difficult to expel. In most cases, this occurs because the colon has absorbed too much of the water from the food that is in the colon. The slower the food moves through your digestive tract, the more water the colon will absorb from food. Consequently, the feces become dry and hard. Defecation (emptying the bowels) can become very painful, and in some serious cases there may be symptoms of bowel obstruction. When the constipation is very severe; when the constipation prevents the passage of feces and gas, it is called obstipation.
I recommended TIENS Product for you.
