On Fire: Finding Your Gift And Using It

On Fire: Finding Your Gift And Using It

Find your Gift and use it. WHY.

Your Gift is an insight wrapped in talent and shared with others.

Why find and use it?

Four reasons:

1) To start down this Gift-giving path is to turn toward God and the truth you’ve been created and for a reason.

2) Finding your Gift and using it means you affirm that you matter. What you do, or don’t do, makes a difference in the lives of other people and, ultimately, on the planet.

3) If you don’t move toward God and your Gift, you relegate yourself to being a consumer of whatever comforts, diversions, trivial pursuits (power, wealth, fame) and low-level purposes (judgment, revenge, resignation, self-protection) you can discover. As a result…

4) You “kill time” with your life. You hate that.

In the deepest part of you, you know you were born for so much more.

When I spend a several hours thinking about God and the spiritual side of my life, I see unusual things. It seems as though some spirit is chasing my thoughts by showing me what it finds to get feedback to continue reading my thoughts and changing its strategy, trying to close the gap. I’m not sure if I should trust this whatever it is. It’s been happening tonight for the past few hours. This happened when my Dad passed a year ago and before that it happened in 2006 and one more time before that in 2003. The Bible talks about the Prince of the air which is a deceiver by nature. Anyway, each time this happened eventually I had to admit myself to the hospital. It seems the closer I get to God; the more His opposite makes an attempt on my conscious mind. I would like some feedback please.
