Did this bother any Dylan fans out there? It forever changes my experience of that song; to paraphrase Heraclitus about the river, no one can hear the same song twice anyway, but now the stream of that song is nigh-inescapably linked in my mind to Pepsi.
The song always existed in the context of my memory, and probably very differently in the context of some 60s kids’ memories, and very differently in some 90s kids memories.
But now the creator of that song changed the song himself — to a Pepsi anthem.
