Finally... clear-cut directions from an astrologer!
Finally… clear-cut directions from an astrologer!

I’m going to come out and say it people: April is an overrated month. I think it scores easy points because of what came before it and because people know what’s coming afterwards. As months ago, I don’t think April tries very hard. That seems somewhat appropriate: given that during April the Sun is either in Aries (which doesn’t give a hoot what you think) or Taurus (which doesn’t give a hoot what you think either, but in a slower and more stubborn way). However, this year I’m willing to grant April a little slack. There’s some not-so-bad-stuff happening this month.

Sure there’s a Lunar Eclipse happening on the Fourth that involves Uranus and Pluto, and that has some people a bit freaked out. Just stay calm and remember that astrologically, eclipses never happen in a vacuum: they just bring surprises later based on your other transits. That day though? It’s basically just a Full Moon on steroids. Having said that: people whose charts show an emphasis on the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) should perhaps only be approached while wearing protective gear that day. Other than that, don’t panic.

Jupiter comes off its retrograde in Leo this month, and is trine to Uranus. This makes the second half of April a particularly good time to make some breakthroughs happen for yourself, especially in cases where a little good luck or some brilliant ideas are called for. And around the 25th and 26th Venus in Gemini rides the midpoint between the two of them, adding some particular zip to the blend. And the Saturn-Neptune square is becoming less exact, so that’s got to be good news, right?

Just watch for when the Moon is Void of Course whenever you’re starting out your new projects, and there’s some really decent energy here for you to work with.
