Israel announces “Jewish News 1″ broadcast alternative to al-Jazeera

posted by

The first-ever Jewish news network will begin broadcasting tomorrow.

“Jewish News 1 was born as an alternative to the world’s leading news networks – CNN, Fox News and Sky News,” reports Andy Sennitt for the Media Network. “But its main goal is to serve as the Jewish version of al-Jazeera, which has won the hearts of tens of millions of Arab viewers over the past 15 years.”

According to Israel’s Makor Rishon newspaper, the channel will be broadcast via satellite to Europe, North America and the Middle East.

In Israel it will be offered by the Yes satellite company.

Sennitt reports that the network plans to broadcast news from Israel and the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from studios in Tel Aviv, Brussels, Kiev, Washington, Paris and London — with broadcasts initially in English, but eventually also in Hebrew, French, Italian, Russian and German.

It is about time that we begin to use all the media in order to strengthen the position of Israel in the world.
Israel was never so unpopular. Something has to be done!

This news is so exciting. It is very difficult to find news from Israel and those of us who support the Apple of God’s Eye, not just in Israel proper but those Jews around the world. Will be anticipating more news on this important daily service; will it be TV, radio, will we have to pay extra for this privilege, etc. Love ya, MO’

Does Sunday Morning Church Really Need All This Glitter, Showmanship and Gimmickry?
What’s wrong with church today? Are we in danger of turning worship into a flashy concert? Of watering down the message so nobody is offended? Of forgetting the simplicity of the Gospel? I grew up with a preacher’s kid. He was a fake following in the footsteps of his flimflamming father who d
