Miley Cyrus gets a tattoo supporting gay marriage

posted by

Miley Cyrus has made an indelible mark on her finger supporting marriage.

She has a new tattoo of an equal sign. She sent out a Twitter message today with a photo of her newly inscribed finger and the comment “All LOVE is equal.”

She later added, “@MileyCyrusLuver where does it say in the bible to judge others? Oh right. It doesn’t. GOD is the only judge honey. ‘GOD is love.'”

According to the website Christian Post, Cyrus, 18, was responding to a tweet from a fan who asked the artist to “look up Leviticus, 1 Corinthians. Read both chapters and tell me where God says homosexuality, incest, and polygamy is ok?”

After MileyCyrusLuver offered a differing opinion in opposition to gay marriage (citing 1 Corinthians 6:9-11), however, she was accused of expressing hate and flooded with “mean” tweets by others.

Notably, Cyrus asked fans to “lay off” MileyCyrusLuver.

“Everyone is entitled 2 opinions!’ if u don’t stand 4 something you’ll fall for anything.’ :)” the pop artist tweeted.

This MileyCyrusLuver is of course correct about the bible’s stance on homosexuality, however, in 1 kings 1-3 it states that Solomon the wise had 700 wives and 300 concubines, in Genesis 19:30-38 there is a story of polygamy with lot and his daughter’s with no consequences or punishment from God, so that person is wrong about the bible’s stance on polygamy and Incest. Someone needs to read their bible.

Why should anyone rely on the Bible to tell them everything that is right or wrong anyhow? The book is full of contradictions. Miley apparently chose to take a stand for what, IMO, is right and though not a real fan of hers (little too old here folks) I give her credit for taking that stance.

Does Sunday Morning Church Really Need All This Glitter, Showmanship and Gimmickry?
What’s wrong with church today? Are we in danger of turning worship into a flashy concert? Of watering down the message so nobody is offended? Of forgetting the simplicity of the Gospel? I grew up with a preacher’s kid. He was a fake following in the footsteps of his flimflamming father who d
