To enter: Send me an email at moviemom@moviemom.com with GoPro in the subject line and tell me your favorite movie alien. DON’T FORGET YOUR ADDRESS! Every contest some entries are disqualified because the entry omits the address. I promise, I do not keep the addresses and never use them for anything but mailing out prizes. (US addresses only.) I will pick a winner at random on July 28, 2014. Good luck!!

And your favorite movie alien is…?

    • Nell Minow

      Hmmmm. Can I say Superman?

      • Donna Kazee

I thought about him as well, or Spock! There are so many possible choices.

  • Jeff

    Is this real??

    • Nell Minow

100% real. The photo in the post is of the prize I will be sending out.

I think I did this wrong! I emailed you my favorite alien movie, not my favorite movie alien. Is that OK or do I need to send another entry?

    • Nell Minow

You’re entered, Jacob! Many thanks and good luck.

      • Jacob

        Thank you kindly!

  • MicErnest

I didn’t even have to think of my fav. Was an easy pick :)

Was the winner supposed to be announced?

    • Nell Minow

Just got back from Comic-Con late last night and will announce the winner today, so stay tuned.

  • Susan Dobie

Thank you, Movie Mom! We received the GoPro today and it is charging as I type this. My husband is buried in the manual and instructional websites – I hope you don’t mind if we share an adventure or two with you! Thank you so much and thank you to Earth To Echo!

    • Nell Minow

I’m so glad it arrived safely! I can tell you from experience that the videos you take will be treasured memories for your family. And I’d love to see what you create. Thanks to all who entered!

When the Game Stands Tall
This dreary assemblage of every possible sports cliché has one thing in common with the game it portrays. Every time it seems to be going somewhere, it stops. More frustratingly, it wastes the opportunity to tell a good story by trying to squeeze in too many great ones. There are too many crises
