O Man! I would love to have the cast of Star trek in my front yard. The problem is that they would probably melt in the sun and bugs would get caught in the softening wax. O well, another good idea reduced to a puddle.

When he was in college, a friend of mine was able to get a (nearly) full-sized statue of St. Patrick from a decommissioned Catholic Church.
It would be a blast to own “The Beatles” or Lucille Ball or Humphrey Bogart, but I think I prefer plaster statues to wax figures – wax figures are creepier!

What Do Critics Think About Watching Film That Is Not What the Makers Intended?
Thanks to Indiewire for including me in their survey of critics about how important it is to watch a movie as it was filmed. If it was made on film stock, is it unfair to the artists' vision to watch a digital version? Here was my answer: [caption id="attachment_30587" align="alignright" widt
