Remember the New

Question: I have felt and seen within a part of me that just seems to exist all on its own without thought. But am I missing something if I can’t stay conscious of it? Are the multitude battles I go through just the way it is, or can I just drop the old nature and have the new?

Answer: Drop the old nature right now. Do it. Come awake. In fact, everyone should do it who is reading this. When we remember ourselves, there is no battle. The New is always present. It is we who are forgetful. Start over again and again. This is both the battle and the victory at once.
