Connectivity: The Missing Dimension

posted by Guy Finley

Life is a process of transference of beautiful solar, celestial, cosmic energies — a scale of being that rains down into us as individual creatures. In this transference of energy, whatever is touched by it is transformed in some way. There is an exchange that takes place from above to below, so that what is below becomes the above. You and I are meant to participate in that world above.

How do we know a higher such world exists? There are times when we’re out in nature, or listening to music, and all of a sudden — for whatever reason — we feel a great harmony around us. There’s a complete sense of wellbeing, because for that moment, there is the missing dimension in our human life… and that missing dimension is connectivity.

Right now we’re terribly disconnected — not only from the world around us, but we’re disconnected from ourselves. Meditation, in its truest sense, is a form of connectivity, an alignment. Meditation is for delivering a person into a broader world they wish to be a part of.
