Letting Go with Guy Finley

Letting Go with Guy Finley

The Power of a Silent Mind

The more we practice quietly stepping outside that rushing stream of thoughts about ourselves, the more we realize our True Self as being something altogether unthinkable; for the undreamed power of a silent mind is this: Since it never sinks itself into useless considerations of the painful kind, it has no need to be rescued from its own troubled creations!

The power of the silent mind is quite incredible. At first you don’t know what to do with it. Then you discover that you have the power to stop the incessant chatter of your mind. In that moment of silence we know our true power to create heaven or hell for ourselves…now that’s true wisdom. Thank you Guy, for your guidance and wisdom. It’s taken a while, but I get it now.
