What’s in Your Power and What’s Not

Whenever you feel pressed in by life, it’s because you are pushing. Don’t push. It doesn’t work. Do something different. Try changing places in the moment with yourself by daring to step out of that self that’s insisting you change reality. It’s not in your power to do that. It is in your power to drop demands!

Stay out of other people’s nightmares. Their negative reactions to life’s uncertainties may seem stimulating, but these dark dramas are secretly life-draining. It’s not in your power to change a bad dream someone else wants to have. It is in your power to wake up!
The only power any anxious thought or feeling has is to make you feel more frightened faster. Any mental race to try and resolve what may or may not be has only starting lines. It’s not in your power to resolve what tomorrow holds for you. It is in your power to see that only a fool runs nowhere for nothing!
