Life can get hectic. Stress triggers are everywhere. A great way to say, “I love me!” is to give yourself some quiet time. Take yourself out to lunch after the busy lunchtime rush is over or to a café for coffee. Bring a book or magazine to read. Allow yourself to relax in the joy of relaxing. I love to go out regularly. Even if it’s noisy where you are, stay in your own world so it feels good.
Don’t check emails, take phone calls or text. Just breathe, and enjoy the peacefulness of relaxing alone. It can balance your mood and is good for your health because you’re taking yourself away from things and people that trigger stress. For one or two hours this time is yours. It’s a great way to and say, “I love me!”
