Some people can increase our angst. Others can soothe it. In this world of electronic disconnect, people are skipping calls in favor of email and texting. But sometimes you need a more personal contact. A warm, loving voice can be like a balm when you’re having a bad day, or even when your day is good and you want to make it better.
If you’re feeling stressed or down or can use a pick-me-up, call a friend who has a positive spirit. Talk out what’s going on in your life. Receive encouragement and positive words. Calling a friend you like is a wonderful way to say, “I love me!”
