While sometimes we can’t control a lot of it, you can do something that feels good. When you come home to a space that feels good, you feel good. When there’s something that makes you smile, you say, “I love me!”

Even if you don’t have a lot of money you can bring something into your most personal space that brightens it up a bit and makes you happier being there.

I’ve hung photos of good friends and places or events I’ve been too that made me happy. Some people hang up positive statements. You might find a pretty picture or vase or throw pillow, etc. at a thrift shop. A colored light bulb can add ambience. Add whatever would make you feel good to your décor.

Personal touches say, “I love me!”
