posted by David Kuo

I’ve long been a fan of J.J. Abrams – Felicity, Alias, Lost, etc. This short lecture by him is wonderful, insightful, funny, and inspirational…

Great interview. I don’t know what TED is and haven’t seen any of the shows, but I enjoyed the talk.

Thanks for sharing that, I really enjoyed it. You could draw some interesting spiritual applications on the role of mystery in the Christian life, as well.

Ok, I am listening again… and this is darn long to listen to again… but I am.
Anyway, I guess the application is that the Mysteries of God are what keep us interested. Likewise, that mystery gives an appreciation for what we don’t know, and like in the clip of JAWS, it inspires our awe and devotion, and ultimately our love.
I will be thinking of this later.
I also appreciated that JJ didn’t feel worthy of using his Apple Computer sometimes.

Learning to tell a story
For the last ten months or so I've been engaged in a completely different world - the world of screenwriting. It began as a writing project - probably the 21st Century version of a yen to write the great American novel - a shot at a screenplay. I knew that I knew nothing about the art but was inspir

And just one more
I have, I think, just one more round of chemo left. When I go through my pill popping regimen tomorrow morning it will be the last time for this particular round of drugs. Twenty-three rounds, it seems, is enough. What comes next? We'll go back to what we did after the surgery. We'll watch and measu
